Tap Bolts- Fully Threaded Hex Bolts
Tap bolts are fully threaded regular hex bolts with a pointed end. They are designed to be used in a drilled or tapped hole where a cap screw or stud would be impractical. Made of alloy steel, tap bolts are quenched and tempered in accordance with SAE J429 / ASME and ANSI specifications for tensile strength, hardness and dimensional tolerances.

Grade 8 Tap Bolts
Available in zinc yellow plating and plain finish.
Grade 5 Tap Bolts
Available in zinc yellow plating, zinc clear plating, and plain finish.
Grade 2 Tap Bolts
Available in zinc yellow and zinc yellow plating.
