Lower piece prices (hard-cost reductions) are achieved through our engineering review process, as well as selection of the proper manufacturing process.
Combination runs, parts that are similar in size or design, often yield savings as we identify those parts that can be produced at the same time to reduce set-up costs.
Reduced operating costs (soft-cost reductions) are achieved through the elimination of freight costs, lower inventory levels, systems/procedural changes. The method used to deliver parts to the plant often provides significant reductions in material handling and indirect cots. Inventory levels, which may have had turns of 12-24 times per year, are increased to over 70 turns per year.
